Chris is a qualified CIMA accountant. After a successful career in industry as a Finance Director for companies in the Logistics and Communications sectors, Chris started CMA in 2007 with the aim of adding value to companies, supporting them as they grow and providing efficient tax strategies.

As the business owner, Chris takes a hands on approach to client services in addition to developing the practice so that it stays at the forefront of new technology and ensures the team is fully equipped to meet the demand of modern business.

Away from the office, as well as looking after his 2 dogs, Chris is keen on skiing, sailing and the occasional game of golf.

Roanna joined CMA Accountancy back in August 2014. Prior to joining CMA, Roanna completed her A-Levels at Winstanley College with a particular focus in business studies. Roanna has successfully completed her full AAT qualification since joining CMA, and is currently studying her ACCA exams to become a chartered accountant. Starting out as an apprentice, Roanna has developed into a full account manager handling all matter of affairs for her portfolio of clients, often supporting clients as they have developed into larger businesses.

Outside of the office, Roanna continues to enjoy dancing, something she has been passionate about since her youth and has now advanced to teaching dancing to young children.

Emma joined CMA Accountancy in March 2018. She is an AAT-qualified accountant who initially worked in industry across the retail, manufacturing, and leisure sectors. Seeking a new challenge, Emma transitioned into practice, bringing her industry experience to support a wide range of clients. As a dedicated full-service account manager, she builds and maintains strong relationships with her portfolio of clients and is a key member of the CMA team.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys taking her dogs on walks, reading, and staying active through strength training, swimming, and trail runs with her local running club. She also values spending quality time with her teenage son.

Myles joined CMA Accountancy in September 2021 as a trainee accountant. Prior to joining the team, he studied a vocational Business Studies course at St. John Rigby College, where he also completed a work experience placement with CMA in 2019. Myles is currently progressing through his AAT qualification and aims to become a fully qualified chartered accountant in the future.

Outside of work, Myles enjoys staying active by going to the gym and playing football. He is also an avid football fan and a dedicated supporter of his local team, Wigan Athletic.

Jess joined CMA Accountancy in February 2023 as an ICAS-qualified chartered accountant, having completed her training at PwC in Edinburgh. With a strong background in audit, Jess brings a fresh perspective to the team, along with experience working across a variety of sectors and companies of different sizes. Her expertise in audit and financial management allows her to provide valuable insights and practical advice to clients.

Outside of work, Jess enjoys spending time with her family, including days out with her three young children.

Blaise joined CMA Accountancy in November 2024. Prior to joining CMA, she accumulated over 10 years of experience in payroll, working her way up to a Payroll Manager role in industry. In this capacity, Blaise was responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll operations for large teams, ensuring accurate and timely salary processing, compliance with tax and employment regulations, and implementing efficient payroll systems.

Outside of the office, Blaise enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her young son.
